Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Braiding Operator Needed. Responsible for set-up, operation, change-over, and general maintenance of catheter braiding machines. Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process. Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected while performing job duties.
2nd Shift 3:30pm - 2:00am, Monday – Thursday (10% Shift Differential)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operate braiding equipment by following established processes and procedures
Complete machine change-overs and setups as needed
Perform 5’s (sort, set in order, clean, standardize, and sustain) Maintenance on braiding machines so that they are running properly and efficiently daily
Track productivity using production management systems
Identify and escalate machine and production issues to Supervisor, Group lead and/or Manufacturing Engineering on a daily basis
Work independently and multitask
Work and interact effectively in a team environment
Coordinate, interface and help train when needed
Able to learn and train to SAP – system software
What your background should look like:
1-2 years of braiding machine experience required
Medical Device industry experience preferred
Ability to read and write proficiently in English
High School Diploma/GED required

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.50 - $22 /HR (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
