Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Product Management Teams manage a product’s full life cycle from shaping and launching new products to architecting plans to accelerate growth and profitability to executing exit strategies. They are responsible for full product portfolios and exercise ownership of the overall product strategy with the ultimate goal of delivering sales and profit targets. This Global Product Manager role will focus initially on expansion of an already healthy product portfolio into a targeted set of applications positioned for growth in the Industrial market. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to break through into a higher level of management within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global 5-year strategic plan to accelerate profitable growth for the product portfolio
- Clearly define mega-trends that lead to growth drivers for tactical sales and new product line development
- Drive comprehensive communication and team alignment to enable the strategic plan with support from regional product management, customer care, engineering, finance, operations, purchasing and sales
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking
- Define portfolio specific value propositions that beat the competition
- Develop product roadmaps that aligns with business strategy
- Design go-to-market strategy, inclusive of channel strategy and partnerships
- Work with engineering and operations in the development of new products to meet current and future customer requirements.
- Manage the product portfolio lifecycle
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)
What your background should look like:
Profile
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product management, strategy, or sales roles
- Relevant product or industry experience desired
- Strategically Driven: Focused on the big picture, innovation and creating value for TE to be a leader in the market
- Financial Insights: Has the ability to understand implications of key financial and quantitative indicators; manages overall financial performance. Integrates quantitative information to draw accurate conclusions
- 4-year technical or business degree required
- Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- Willingness to travel EMEA / Global is required

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $132,600-204,400
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
