Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leader for America Quality Organization in Global Logistics to drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality standards across our operations in the Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of quality professionals and implementing best practices in quality management, with a strong emphasis on customer collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, with a strong focus on customer collaboration and support for warehouse audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the organization, including operations, customer service, and supply chain management, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and warehouse compliance.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals and provide training and coaching to ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices, with a focus on customer collaboration and support for warehouse audits.
  • Collaborate with other leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement quality metrics to measure and improve performance, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and warehouse compliance.
  • Ensure timely resolution of quality issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective actions, with a focus on customer collaboration and support for warehouse audits.
  • Implement and maintain a six-sigma program to drive process improvements and reduce waste and defects, with a focus on customer collaboration and support for warehouse audits.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Logistics. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • 15-18 years of experience in quality management, preferably in logistics or a related industry
  • Strong background in six sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $73,600-110,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
