What You'll Be Doing....
A typical day for a Demand Manager may include:
- Collaborating with other internal & external customers to achieve forecast accuracy targets and develop a sound demand plan.
- Monitoring and adjusting the demand plan using analytical and statistical tools and intelligence gathering.
- Understanding how sales trends and shipment patterns will affect future demand and integrate into forecasts.
- Root cause analysis of all appropriate forecast to demand exceptions at the part level and up.
- Executing all existing analytical tools and business processes to drive forecast accuracy and bias metric improvements.
- Collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data using statistical and probability analyses to establish a part number level forecast.
- Working as a liaison between Sales, Product Management, Materials Planning, and Finance to understand various sales, forecast, planning, delivery service, and inventory variables.
- Understanding the details of assigned product families – strategies, market share, key customers, programs, etc.
- Communicate and manage abnormal demand events from the commercial side from the S&OP process to pass onto supply chain.

What your background should look like:
- Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of statistics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to cross functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge and business acumen of supply chain and how it affects manufacturing optimization processes and finance.
- Experience in SAP MRP systems and statistical forecasting tools like IBP, JDA, or Xelus.
- Experience working on complex problems in systems that require out of the box solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent. An MBA is a plus.
- APICS and SIOP certification a plus.
- 3+ plus years of experience in Supply Chain, S&OP and/or Demand Planning.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $71,000 - $107,000
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
