Job Overview

The TE Sensors business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for an experienced Distribution Manager to drive revenue and new business opportunities in the Mass Market Account Base. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing TE Sensors product sales thru TE Connectivity’s BU Managed distribution channel. They will be the focal point of contact and establish relationships with their distributor teams and connect customers to our Mass Market Sales Team. The successful candidate will be the liaison to these partners and will be responsible for getting correct resources from the team to provide product knowledge, technical expertise, product application information to their partner and the partner’s customers. This position is fully remote but would be preferable if located with access to TE Sensor’s Hampton, VA, facility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create strategy, establish KPI, and drive distributor sales performance by reviewing assigned distributor performance with branches including top/bottom customers, GPL trends, new product performance and competitive cross reference activities.
  • Achieve a solid understanding of TE Sensors product portfolio and new product launch roadmap.
  • Establish relationships with TE Sensors Customer Care Team to insure that customer activity is moving smoothly to completion.
  • Create awareness of product opportunities across various applications through opportunity identification sessions, branch training, and branch reviews.

Key Goals and Objectives:

  • TE Sensors BU product indirect (POS) revenue growth within the assigned regional territory.
  • Growth of Opportunity Pipeline in Assigned Distribution Partners.
  • Advancing and closing key new business opportunities (Conversion Rate).
  • Provide technical support for TES BU products at distributor branch offices

What your background should look like:

Skills and Experience:

  • BS or BA degree BA/BBA with a focus in Business, Management or Marketing. Advanced education a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field sales and dealing with customer needs
  • Experience working with Distribution
  • Experience with Sensor Industry
  • Experience working with MS Power Point, Excel, Word, and Outlook (Salesforce is a plus)
  • Able to travel a minimum of 10% of the time and interface with the customer 70% of the time.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $74,600 – $111,800/year (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
