Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Job Description: TE Connectivity’s Production Operator I, will assemble fabricated relays, as specified by work orders, diagrams, or layout: Aligns and clamps parts together, using rule, square, or hand tools, or positions items in fixtures, jigs, or vise. Performs duties while paying attention to quality and detail. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity’s EH&S policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Follow detailed blueprints, schematics instructions, processes, and procedures to build our product.
Accurate complete all essential documents (i.e. Lot History Records (LHR's), Inspection Records and Validation Documentation)
Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as pad printing, adhesive bonding, light soldering, welding and perform leak testing.
Adjusts and trims materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics
Performs online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Ability to inspect work-in-process to documented quality standards to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
What your background should look like:
Experience/Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
1 year manufacturing experience required.
Working knowledge of hand tools
Ability to read blueprints and detailed drawings.
Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English. Good written and oral communication skills
A safe quality conscious attitude working in a team environment.
Attention to detail is imperative.
Familiarity with ISO 9001
SAP experience is preferred but not required.
Understand military specifications a plus.
Team Player: Willing to help production team to complete assigned tasks. Will work overtime to support production goals as needed.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $35,360 – $36,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
