Position Summary Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.

Pricing is a part of the Product Management organization and is aligned with both Product Management and Demand Management with strong linkages to Sales and Finance. The Global Pricing Team has general responsibility for optimizing book, agreement, and competitive pricing across all sales channels.

The Senior Manager, Product Pricing will have primary responsibility for price management where $600M+ of sales are transacted using book pricing or competitive pricing. The primary focus is to optimize prices for both direct and distribution channels through the development & execution of effective price strategies. Price Optimization will be the cornerstone driving both growth and profitable results in the areas of book pricing and competitive pricing. The role will also participate in the development of valued-based product pricing strategies and executing them in the most efficient & profitable way. The role will be a member of the Pricing Leadership Team in creating an industry-leading pricing team.

Participate in defining the vision and value of pricing to the business

Contributes to setting strategic direction, goals, and strategies for the Global Product Pricing team

Develops organization to support responsibilities of the Product pricing team and drive price realization performance.

Manage technology roadmap and ensure alignment with long-term pricing strategy
Knowledge/Skills

Leverage deep knowledge of product pricing to ensure pricing policies & procedures are utilized to deliver maximum revenue

Understanding markets, competitive environment and value TE products deliver to support development of pricing strategies

Drive communication and process innovation & improvement

Deliver solutions to resolve key issues or eliminate obstacles, often requiring collaboration across functions both within and outside of the business unit

What your background should look like:
The successful candidate will be a talented business professional with a minimum of five to seven years of Pricing experience in a global business. Additional background working in Sales or Product Management would be ideal. The candidate will be experienced working in a fast-based and demanding global environment. They will have a track record of demonstrated results across a global organization. This will include experiences on cross-functional teams and examples of building partnerships with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and other functional areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will be viewed as a good listener and creative thinker. They will bring a sense of urgency to the pricing organization, will lead by example, and take personal ownership in assignments. They will be an inspiring person who will hold themselves and team members accountable for achieving world-class pricing status.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking & execution of strategic initiatives
- Experience managing a global team and developing high performing talent
- Knowledge of value-based pricing concepts, methodologies, and related processes
- Analytical thinker capable of interpreting complex data to solve the most difficult commercial issues
- Experience with SAP and/or Advanced Pricing Software (PROS preferred)
An undergraduate degree in business, economics, or comparable work experience is required. An advanced degree is highly desired.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $ 128,100 –$192,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
