Job Overview

As an ERP and Material Planning Analyst in Application Tooling, this individual will be responsible for E2E purchasing, planning, and shipping of hand tools until the depletion of component inventory and or the transition to the outside vendor. At some point the position will transform to an ERP Analyst to support SAP S4 roll out.

What you'll Be Doing....

  • Review SAP sales order blocks related to new orders, change orders, cancellations, and expedites.
  • Review and release purchase orders (sub-contract or complete) to cover requirements and support customer demand while reducing component inventory levels.
  • Review and execute MRP exception codes to prevent excess inventory or conversely a shortage and expedite.
  • Review open order backlog for deliveries.
  • Review component shortages for manufactured product.
  • Create necessary deviations when required.
  • Perform price break analysis to determine the ultimate order quantity.
  • Strive to continuously provide excellent customer service and improved STR delivery performance.
  • Review and analyze Engineering changes and follow procedures for proper disposition.
  • Perform tasks following Standard Work to ensure position requirements are executed according to plan.
  • The transition to ERP analyst position will be a key users representative for the Global Application Tooling Business Unit for SAP S4 roll out

What Your background should look like....

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering with 3+ years of experience as a Material Analyst doing planning and buying in a manufacturing environment.
    • Extensive knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office products
    • Ability to read and understand production drawings and relate to a manufacturing process.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communications, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential.
    • Candidate must maintain a positive, professional attitude.

Work Location

This a hybrid role requiring 1-2 days onsite at our Waynesboro, PA location.
