Job Overview

The Senior Product Mgr, Electrophysiology (EP) role is a global role within our Interconnect group & will be responsible for driving growth & profitability in the EP market, operating as a “mini–General Manager” of the smart catheter product portfolio. This individual will collaborate across functional areas including Sales, Mktng, Finance, Engineering, Project Mgmt., & Operations to deliver on customer and organizational commitments. This is a senior level role with high exposure within the Product Mgmt. function and the overall Medical business unit. The role reports directly to the Director of Product Mgmt.
Key Responsibilities
Market Sensing & Strategy Dev –30%
- Articulate mkt trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, & competitive landscape for the smart catheter mkt.
- Conduct segmentation & competitive benchmarking on the smart catheter mkt.
- Work with R&D & operations in the devlpmt of new products to meet current & future customer reqmts.
- Define value propositions that convey differentiated TE offering.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new product introductions & existing business.
- Establish internal stakeholder engagement model to leverage & lead expertise & capabilities across the
Business Plan and Roadmap Development – 20%
- Partner with Engineering, Project Mgmt. & Finance to estimate resource reqmts & project costs to successfully advance smart catheter projects.
- Develop product roadmaps that align with business strategy.
- Establish pricing strategy to meet sales & profitability targets for the portfolio.
- Achieve cross-functional alignment to strategies & execution plans.
Product Devlpmt & Launch – 25%
- Be the opportunity champion for PAC projects.
- Plan product launches, including the devlpmt of mktg & sales plans.
- Ensure part numbers are created & established.
- Provide demand inputs to support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Attend customer meetings in support of converting opportunities into new business.
- Coordinate cross-functionally for successful commercial launches.
Execution – General Product Mgmt Responsibilities – 25%
- Manage P&L for the assigned portfolio.
- Enable sales to promote product line via training & the devlpmt of collateral materials that help articulate the value proposition.
- Serve as point person for customer quote reviews & approvals.
- Manage price increases & the approval special price deviations.
- Track progress to the business plan & facilitate resolution to gaps.
- Serve as the champion, SME, & frontline support for resolution of product-related questions & issues.
- Drive a healthy NPI Funnel.
- Partner with Mktng to drive thought leadership in portfolio.
- Maintain data integrity across portfolio including but not limited to product specs, data sheets, & online content.
What your background should look like:
Requirements & Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent business/technical experience. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
- Solid understanding of the electrophysiology (EP) market including but not limited to key trends, technical product knowledge, end-use applications, OEMs, etc. is a must.
- 7-10 years of product management and/or commercial experience.
- Demonstrated ability as a problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint req/d.
- Exceptional communicator across multiple channels (in-person, email, etc.) & levels (senior executives, peers, direct reports (if applicable).
- Experience working in a global matrixed organization.
- P&L management experience.
- Knowledge of industry compliance & regulatory considerations preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
- Detail-orientated, highly organized, & able to prioritize their time effectively.
- Demonstrate thought ldrshp.
- Proactive & responsive to customer (internal & external) reqmts.
- Experience in building relationships & to influence across functions.
- Inspires trust & open communication amongst team members & peers.
- Agile & able to adjust quickly to rapidly changing business conditions.
- Able to confidently represent the TE in a professional manner.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,160k - $192,240k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
