Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Tax Teams develop and implement systems to compile information for various federal, state, and local reports. They ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns. They assess tax implications surrounding pending mergers and acquisitions. The Tax Teams recommend ways to minimize corporate tax by using other f tax laws and regulations. They may administer international tax laws and regulations and audit financial records to determine tax liability.

The Transfer Pricing Senior Manager will combine their tax expertise to lead a team of professionals and manage the transfer pricing strategy function. This role is a blend of finance, strategy, business partnering, and legal analysis and includes activity around transfer pricing methodology and global tax audit defense. The candidate will be an essential liaison among Corporate Global Tax, regional tax personnel, and worldwide finance and accounting teams. This role reports to the Senior Director in Transfer Pricing and is integral to our global Tax Department. As part of the Tax team, the Transfer Pricing Senior Manager will join a group of professionals passionate about working on some of the most dynamic challenges in Transfer Pricing.
The successful candidate will deeply understand transfer pricing principles, their theory, interpretation, and application. They will be able to collaborate and thrive in a global environment while maintaining integrity, taking accountability, working together, and championing innovation.
This position is based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with international tax team members in identifying planning solutions around intercompany transactions. Provide analysis and support for developing, implementing, and defense of an arm’s length transfer pricing policy.
  • Facilitate and execute tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
  • Perform analysis of TE’s intellectual property and develop financial valuation models.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance purposes. Managing financial and functional analyses to determine transfer pricing implications of supply chain decisions, deals, and acquisitions.
  • Oversight of global transfer pricing documentation and implementation of international transfer pricing policies.
  • Communicating TE’s transfer pricing policy and handling inquiries from operating groups.
  • Managing multiple projects in a dynamic and complex environment. Maintaining communication with consulting firms.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the US/OECD tax and transfer pricing regulations and identifying issues or opportunities attendant to those developments.

What your background should look like:

Success in the role requires exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, solid research skills, highly developed oral and written communication skills, and building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, the successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Completed a degree in higher education or a professional qualification in finance, accounting, tax, economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the U.S. and international Transfer Pricing Regulations.
  • Familiarity with international tax issues (as they pertain to transfer pricing) in complex intercompany transactions and third-party transactions.
  • 10+ years of Accounting or Finance experience in a consulting environment or multinational corporation.
  • Experience with economic and financial modeling techniques, including regression analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting and an ability to analyze and understand financial statements.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative background skills; excellent research, written, and verbal communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment and independently; attention to detail.
  • Experience working with large data samples; strong Excel and other database skills (Alteryx experience strongly desirable).
  • Experience leading teams and a demonstrated commitment to developing direct reports and other team members.
  • Excellent organizational habits, priority management, multi-tasking, and delegation skills.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $142,960 - $214,440 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
