Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

  1. Support production by meet critical customer required completion dates.

  2. Lead and participate in daily production meetings, as well as being an alternate for direct supervisors meet in their absences.

  3. Ordering supplies to meet production needs and establishing a min and max for the area.

  4. Be a leader of 5S on the production floor and help drive the culture of change.

  5. Capable of accessing Procedures and Drawings to support Production.

  6. Use of computer programs like Word, Excel , PDF, Outlook, LeanKit, and SAP.

  7. Walk the shop floor and assist technicians with DOD production.

  8. Provide updates on WO progress and locations via Leankit, GSS, Teams, and Job Boards.

  9. Applies advanced and specialized skills, typically acquired through a combination of job-related vocational training and considerable relevant work experience

  10. Adapt procedures, techniques, tools, material, and/or equipment to resolve complex issues.

    • Frequently required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, however, the employee shall be mostly sitting, standing and/or walking.

    • Occasionally required to climb ladders.

    • Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds unassisted, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds assisted.

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision including handling and fitting of extremely small components.

    • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.

      • 10% time spent manipulating data on a computer.

    • 90% time spend working within production assembling product.

    • High School Diploma

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,000 – $62,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
