Job Overview

Responsible for establishing and ensuring adherence to quality policies and procedures for operations and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Take a leading role in driving quality improvements from proactively measuring quality processes
  • Ability to motivate and develop their team and work effectively with peers to achieve objectives
  • Understanding customer expectations of and needs from a product
  • Developing quality control processes
  • Supervising staff and monitoring production standards
  • Examining the quality of raw materials that are used in production
  • Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes
  • Evaluating the final output of products to determine their quality
  • Rejecting products that fail quality standards
  • Producing statistical reports on quality standards
  • Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues
  • Improving production efficiency and managing waste
  • Customer returns and communication
  • Plans and conducts document, internal audits
  • Evaluates corrective and preventative action responses to audit findings for adequacy and timeliness and manages the closeout of all corrective and preventative actions
  • Administration of policies and procedures, quality records, and external certifications
  • Coordinating and hosting all customer, regulatory and registrar audits on behalf of the site and assume responsibility for ensuring corrective actions meet customer and company expectations

Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year university in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership position
  • Experienced in Quality Audits- IATF, ISO
  • Transformative leadership skills
  • Initiative to drive change
  • Proven track record with working with customers
  • Expertise with fundamental quality programs- 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, Document Control
  • MEMS experience a plus
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $133,300 – $200,000/year (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
