Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations.
The Shipper / Receiver will be responsible for receiving all incoming material and shipping products to customers and subcontractors. Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility. Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving upon arrival as required. Must stage material in designated areas or place in racks as required.
- Completing data entry.
- Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, but not limited to, scanning, labeling, wrapping. Completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as Manifest and Intercompany Bills of Lading.
- Work with buyer and planners to resolve any issues with packing list or Purchase orders.
- Help in maintaining inventory in warehouse by completing row audits and investigating variances.
- Coordinate with carriers to ship and receive materials.
- General housekeeping of work area
- Create production orders.
- Print travelers.
- Issue parts to production.
- Complete kitting work orders for manufacturing
- Expedite parts from production.
- Drop ship to customers as needed.
- Create routing sheet to send wafers to sub-con.
- Send ship alert and wafers maps to sub-con.
- Send asic wafer to sub-con.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform daily Cycle Counting and investigation on variances if exist.
- Work with Engineering and management to ensure packages are received on time and appropriate transactions done in SAP.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
- Perform Physical inventory as needed.
- Perform cycle counting of chemicals in chem room as needed (chemicals are in one-gallon containers).
- Perform warehouse transactions in SAP.
- Kitting of parts for production orders and issuing parts out
- Perform SAP transaction for the parts in subcon.
- Working with QC process all the RMA
What your background should look like:
- HS degree or GED.
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and be Team oriented.
- Strong Math skills.
- 3-5 years experience using SAP doing transactions for shipping, receiving, inventory.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Basic computer skills – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, data entry.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties on time.
- 3-5 years prior experience in shipping and receiving.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing and operations environment preferred.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $46,000 - $69,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
