Job Overview

As a Rotational hire in the Transportation Segment, you will:

  • Utilize various solid modeling and finite element analysis software packages to develop product concepts
  • Work with product documentation such as, solid models, drawings, product and application specifications, tolerance analysis, and test plans & reports
  • Experience failure prevention and analysis tools
  • Develop communication skills while working with cross-functional product launch teams


  • Complete multiple 12-week assignments with different product development teams over a 2-year duration
  • Perform product development tasks with guidance from an experienced product development engineer or manager
  • Network with other engineers, cross-functional team members, employee resource groups and management
  • Complete a capstone project at the end of the 2-year rotation

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:

  • Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
  • Are currently pursuing (or completed prior to June 2024) a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Have previous internship or large project experience preferred
  • Have experience with technical tools such as 3D CAD Software and CAE software
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
  • Have knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly design principals
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $63,360 – $95,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits

What TE Connectivity Product Development Rotation Program offers:

TE has a robust rotational program that provides recent graduates the foundation for being a successful product development engineer through skill development and building a solid support network. Skills are developed through training and research and development on valuable projects that contribute to the success of their team while building on their classroom experience. A supporting network is created through interactions with leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional team members.

Our rotational program typically places an engineer in the Middletown, PA site for the first year and Winston Salem, NC the second year. Throughout the 2-year program, rotational engineers will be provided with:

  • Operations Experience

  • Executive Exposure


TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for Internship positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed.
