Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

This position is responsible for addressing Quality concerns related to production and quality complaints, monitoring the Cost of Poor Quality, reporting, and Supporting plant metrics for business processes tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This is a Temporary position
in Waynesboro, PA.
  • Should have hands-on experience in the usage of Measuring Instruments like Profile Projector, Hand Tool Inspection equipment (Pins & Gauge Block), VMS, Force gauges, Calipers (dial or digital), Micrometers, etc.
  • Good Analytical Skills and ability to take decisions on non-conforming parts.
  • Support manufacturing in resolving quality issues.
  • Ability to map the process and implement adequate controls across the Manufacturing processes.
  • Read and understand drawings, specifications, documents, reports
  • Ability to use standard measuring instruments, both mechanical and electronic.
  • First Article Inspection, Setup, Patrol & Final Inspection and Line Audit, Dock Audit executing Stamping Quality activities

What your background should look like:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience and practitioner in the field of Quality
  • Exposure to ISO / TS Quality Management system requirements preferred
  • Read and understand drawings, specifications, documents, reports
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Basic Computer skills in MS Office

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $34,800 - $52,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary
