Job Overview

We are currently seeking a IT Sr. Supply Chain Manager as part of our global Information Technology team that supports the AD&M business. The position will be a key member of the ADM IT team responsible for the execution of information technology initiatives in conjunction with delivering our quality product and services to our valued clients. This position, reporting to the CIO of AD&M Business Unit, will serve as a business partner to the Vice President, Supply Chain and Operations Teams to develop and execute IT projects that help to drive the business and achieve our fiscal plans.

The successful candidate will effectively implement the corporate information technology strategy while ensuring appropriate service and follow through. Responsibility for driving and implementing SAP Supply Chain initiatives, while building strong relationships with functional internal customers is key to effectively drive financial performance. This pivotal role champions successful execution of the strategy by influencing a cross-disciplinary team within a manufacturing environment.
This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and expand SAP Supply chain planning competency and leading practices across the wider AD&M business
  • Plans and coordinates SAP supply chain, quality, and procurement projects varying from small enhancements to coordination of implementation teams for ECC and S/4 deployments
  • Work with Center of Excellence (COE) technical teams to deploy enhancements and new developments
  • Works with business partners to define requirements and subsequently prioritize implementation of key initiatives
  • Provide ad-hoc ERP guidance and support as needed service as an expert in SAP supply chain, materials management, and procurement
  • Lead and manage structured planning related improvement events both virtual and/or on location as needed
  • Develop and track detailed project plans and manage implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, training, and on time delivery within budget constraints
  • Coordinates IT projects between supply chain, operations, customer service, quality and key stakeholders and collaborates with to design, deliver, and drive productivity and gross margin targets
  • Research reported requirements, plans, and proposes a solution while advocated software corporate standards

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or related field of science with excellent business acumen MBA preferred
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate technical ideas.
  • 8 or more years proven experience of project leadership over multiple contiguous projects including those within a regulated field.
  • Structured continuous improvement experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • SAP certification in Supply chain, procurement, and/or materials management preferred
  • Experience directly working within a supply chain or operations function preferred
  • APICS CPIM and/or similar certifications preferred
  • Aerospace and Defence industry experience preferred
  • Expert level (functional) SAP Supply Chain planning, Materials management knowledge
  • Strong communication, negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (internal and external)
  • Working knowledge of SAP planning master data objects
  • Clear strategic thinker with the ability to execute on priorities Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a demanding environment
  • Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to disseminate critical information appropriately
  • High level of IT capability with detailed experience of Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility and a willingness to travel; global travel experience sensitive to cultural nuance
  • Technical and commercial education/ experience related to Engineering Manufacturing in a similar industry would be beneficial
  • Creativity (with focus on innovation, think out of the box)
  • Problem Solving (especially complex technical problems) Root Cause Analysis, ability to link Operations, Customer Focus, Supply Chain, Quality and Demand with sales delivery

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $141,280-211-920 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
