Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
2nd Shift!
Primary Responsibility: To be fully trained and to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Operation Descriptions (OD’s) in order to produce high quality products in a timely fashion through the performance of various assembly, testing and labeling operations for both relays and sockets. These operations are typically performed using various manual, semi-automatic and automatic assembly equipment. Usually reports to the Lead person or Supervisor.
Basic Functions:
Hand loading/unloading parts and subassemblies into/from assembly fixtures.
Simple operation of semi-automatic and automatic assembly equipment.
Single subassembly of small parts
Spot welding of small parts
Simple adjusting of relay parts
Ultrasonic cleaning of relays and relay parts
Maintaining a clean, safe work area
Tools Used:
Hand tools
Tweezers
Fixtures
Microscopes
Gauges
Ultrasonic Cleaners
Labeling Machines
Testing Equipment
Other Duties May Include:
Simple quality measurements and recordkeeping
Other related duties as necessary

Requirements:
Min. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong visual acuity
Good manual dexterity
Basic English communications skills (speaking, reading, writing)
