Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Material Handler Teams perform the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. They unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. They lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Material Handlers prepare and maintain records of shipments, post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. They examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Job Overview: TE Connectivity's material handlers perform a combination of manual and clerical inventory duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing inventory. They follow warehouse practices and procedures, kitting product, and cutting cable. The warehouse teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment and production.

Daily Tasks:

  • Cycle Counts
  • Follow the kitting schedule provided daily.
  • Locate and accurately count components from picklists
  • Measure and cut cable per the picklists
  • Order shortages for non-inventory items
  • Records, reports, and returns defective items.
  • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
  • Load/Unload Trucks using a forklift
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like:

  • Working Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Forklift Driving experience
  • Ability to lift 50LBS
  • Strong organizational skills

Education and Experience:

  • High School/G.E.D. education and 1 year of relevant experience.


  • Advanced understanding of Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups)
  • History using Macola (MRP System)
  • History using Global Shop (MRP System)

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $58,240 – $60,320 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
