Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.
This is a remote position but candidate is required to be based in the U.S. Preferably located in EST.
This role is ideal for a person who loves thrives being in a fast paced environment in the middle of all the action, and key support for the Global Operations team.
You will enjoy a central and strategic role enabling the global operations organizational and leadership success through managing complex schedules, travel, correspondence and communications (Powerpoint presentation creation and file management), projects, and events.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating domestic and international travel logistics as needed for VP Ops and direct reports
- Preparation and submission of VP Ops Senior expenses.
- Preparing presentations and correspondence to executive level is critical. Significant experience with Office products required primarily PowerPoint (deck creation, design and editing), Excel (spreadsheet and formula creation) and Word.
- Building strong working relationships with all stakeholders and partners to drive follow-up
- Program / Meeting / Project Management - Distribute action points from meetings to the relevant functional leaders, holding accountability for timely execution of action points, and ensure successful outcomes through the effective oversight of the various projects and programmes on behalf of the VP Operations as required.
- Be comfortable and open to present topics and lead / coordinate discussions / meetings.
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to the VP Ops , including complex diary management and an extremely busy email inbox.
- Proactively handling an extremely complex calendar and tight deadlines
- Managing the schedule and logistics for the VP Operations. Ensuring diary management aligns with the strategic priorities of the business and agenda. Liaising with internal and external individuals on behalf of the VP Ops etc.
- Provide meeting support i.e. assisting the VP Operations to develop agendas, collate and circulate meeting material, prepare and circulate minutes, etc. Organise meetings including all logistics such as travel, accommodation, catering, technology, venue/ meeting room booking and manage correspondence accordingly
- Arrange and plan all-staff meetings, and facilitate social events.
- Producing reporting information to include collating of information, data checks, research, and ad hoc project work.
- Project management of ad hoc projects, events and meetings
What your background should look like:
- At least 3-5 years relevant experience as a Personal or Senior Administrative Assistant within a global multinational fast-paced enterprise.
- Ideally will have multidisciplinary global org experience and will be familiar with various time zones
- Strong team player.
- Ability to work on own initiative; be proactive and anticipate support needs; drive initiatives to completion.
- Ability to manage and plan projects with many stakeholders, anticipating problems before they arise.
- Ability to adapt your approach to the working styles of different people, at all levels of seniority.
- Excellent judgement and discretion in highly sensitive environments.
- You must have excellent communication skills and be able to adapt your communication style to those you are working or collaborating with.
- You also need to have a positive attitude, take initiative, be open and outgoing and comfortable leading conversations and activities within all levels of an organization, sometimes in front of larger groups.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- The ability to handle information professionally and confidentially, with the upmost discretion
- Excellent written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
- Capable of working with individuals at all levels within the company and externally with clients and company contacts
- Excellent organisational skills – prioritising and managing a wide variety of workloads, delivering work within deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and deliver on requirements while prioritising sometimes conflicting needs.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task, flex and be adaptable

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $76,880-96,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
