Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Position Overview: Marking and striping primary wire.

Responsibilities:

  • Set machine by following Manufacturing System (MS) guidelines.
  • The job requires using inks, acetone and MEK. (MEK, Methyl ethyl ketone, is used in many industries. It is used as a solvent and in the manufacture of synthetic rubber, paraffin wax, and to make other chemical products.)
  • Place a mark using an Inkjet machine or marking wheels on primary wire.
  • Apply a stripe using a striping head on primary wire.
  • Completes necessary operational paperwork required.
  • Data entry into SAP.
  • Follow company and department standard work, procedures, and policies.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years in a manufacturing position.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and SAP preferred.

Agronomics

  • Standing 70%-80%
  • Max lifting 10 pounds
  • Bending and or stooping 5% - 10%
  • Nothing overhead or ladders will be used.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $45,760 – $49,920 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
