TE Connectivity in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking for a Quality and Reliability Engineer to provide statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples. Ensure quality systems are robust and functioning to ensure customers receive quality products. Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes. Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence. Establish statistical reliability by using mean time before failure, Weibull 3-parameter distribution, reliability modeling, and reliability demonstration tests. Develop experiments by applying full and fractional techniques. Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods. Maintain statistical process controls by applying demerit/unit, zone charting, and x2 chars for distributions and individual-medial/range for multi-stream processes. Analyze data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests. Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practice; participating in professional societies; maintaining American society of quality control certified quality engineer qualification. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, quality assurance, medical device, or in a technical-related occupation.
Special Requirements: Requires 2 years of experience with the following:
- Knowledge and application of quality system regulations and application to medical devices.
- Microsoft Office Skills.
- Use and understanding of measurement equipment and testing.
- Math skills and advanced statistics.
- Interpersonal, organization, and project management skills.
