TE Connectivity in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking for a Quality and Reliability Engineer to provide statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testingmethods and samples. Ensure quality systems are robust and functioningto ensure customers receivequality products. Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes. Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence. Establish statistical reliabilityby using mean time before failure, Weibull 3-parameter distribution, reliabilitymodeling, and reliabilitydemonstration tests. Develop experiments by applying full and fractional techniques. Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods. Maintain statisticalprocess controls by applying demerit/unit, zone charting, and x2 chars for distributions and individual-medial/range for multi-stream processes. Analyze data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capabilityanalysis tests. Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations. Maintain professional and technical knowledgeby attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practice; participating in professional societies; maintaining American society of quality control certifiedquality engineer qualification. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
