Job Overview
The Sr Manager for Continuous Improvement will be responsible to implement and deploy TEOA and Lean tools around sites, supporting, coaching local teams, and head trans-functional workshops together with site teams, following and accomplishing within TEOA standards and executing TEOA strategic plan. You will be required to be align with and drive TEOA activities considering all the Value Stream, End to End. (TE Operating Advantage/TEOA is a CI Certificate that you can earn via training after starting the role, if you do not have this certification yet.)
Main Tasks
- Support the deployment of the Operations Strategy.
- Coordinate with site management and TEOA site team development at site-level Current State VSM (Value Stream Mapping), Future State VSM and TEOA deployment plan based on TEOA Site Assessment, in order to achieve the plant performance objectives (Star levels).
- Discuss and develop the resources and priorities needed to support the deployment plan; support, plan, drive and follow-up the TEOA deployment plan at all sites.
- Implement Star Level audits based on TEOA tool implementation.
- Hold site weekly follow-ups on the improvement projects as planned in the deployment plan.
- Hold monthly Review meetings with Plant management and Continuous Improvement Management to review the committed deliverables and adjust the TEOA deployment plan if needed.
- Increase knowledge to all levels of employees by detecting training needs and organize training for problem solving techniques and TEOA improvement tools.
- Manage lean culture development at sites & department level.
- Share Successfully Demonstrated Practices (SDP’s) within TE Community.
- Lead improvement projects, deploy pull system on our site, implement layout for flow, Kanban, shop stock sizing, visual management at shopfloor level.
- Drive Lot Size reduction, management control, standard work, workshops / Kaizen events.
What your background should look like:
- Extensive professional experience with focus on production, logistics or engineering and financial knowledge.
- At least 8-10 years' experience in leading continuous improvement activities on regional level (Lean Leader or similar function).
