This is an onsite role in Fuquay-Varina, NC.


Dimensions
This position is based onsite in our Fuquay Varina, NC location assisting VIP users, employees based on a manufacturing building and remote users located in NC, SC, GA and FL.


Business Unit Description TEIS GISS
TE Connectivity is offering this position withing the Regional Service Delivery team to assist users in the US Middle and South region. It provides second-level technical and operational support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, RF guns and multi-function devices, on-site or remotely as required. Provide basic level network troubleshooting and support for the Cisco IP based telephone system. Serve as a liaison between the local site and other TEIS support teams.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve customer hardware, software (standard or custom), or network problems or requests reported via ServiceNow tickets.
  • Build, configure, install, and support PCs using TE’s standard “Image” process.
  • Provide On-call after-hours and weekend support for the local site as well as inclusion in the on-call rotation for the Mid&South team.
  • Troubleshoot client application issues, i.e., SCCM, Crowdstrike, Office 365, and VPN.
  • Recommend modifications or enhancements to reduce user problems.
  • Install network printers (physical hardware and client setup).
  • Manage IP addressing.
  • Act as liaison between TEIS and the local engineering and manufacturing groups.
  • Occasionally assist with cabling, racking, and server installations.

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Technology or 1-2 years of work experience

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $57,360-86,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
