Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The team provides accurate and timely business decision support through financial analysis, detailed reporting and modeling, internal forecasting, annual and strategic planning, and other company initiatives. This position supports the ICT (Industrial and Commercial Transportation) Business Unit.

In addition to the technical aspect, this position also requires relationship building and partnership with Functional Leaders. This includes regular monthly cadence of performance updates and quarterly deep dive on commit forecasts, providing insight and recommendations.

What your background should look like:

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
7-10 years’ experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Experience in SAP, SAC, Hyperion, various data mining / analysis.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management within ICT and TE Connectivity.
Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skill set with an acute attention to detail, requiring minimal supervision.
Firm understanding of variance/root cause analysis and building, reviewing and presenting financial models, budgets and forecasts, with emphasis on labor forecasting.
Development of costing rates.
Strong financial and business acumen. Not just reporting the numbers but providing insight and recommendations.
CER (capital expenditure request) and fixed asset controlling experience.
Ability to work to tight deadlines within a team environment, proactive, organized and results oriented.
Strong continuous improvement mindset focused on standard work documentation and generating information and recommendations, not just data.
Teamwork mindset, with focus on relationship building within and outside Finance organization.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $100,000 – $127,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
