The Role
The Director of Operations Strategy plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the Medical Business Unit at TE Connectivity. As a key member of the global operations team, this role will report to the VP of Operations. The Director of Operations Strategy will be responsible for devising and implementing strategic initiatives to optimize operations, drive efficiency across the organization and enable growth. Key areas of focus will be on business transformation; footprint strategy, product transfer execution, digital strategy and operations engineering / automation roadmap. This role will closely collaborate with the global Medical business and engineering leaders to develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization’s overall business objectives. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, transformational and innovative thinking as well as core leadership skills, supported by a deep understanding of operations management principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with business partners, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and enable growth such as but not limited to automation, digital, footprint and transformation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to operations management, and recommend innovative strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- Support development of robust strategic plans for Medical Business Unit
