Job Overview

Role Statement - Overview:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our Digital Center of Excellence (COE) team. This role is a unique blend of product management and functional analysis, responsible for driving the development and optimization of digital products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both and be passionate about delivering innovative digital solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experiences.


Strategic Vision and Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and maintain the long-term product vision, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the digital strategy team to incorporate emerging trends and business needs into the roadmap.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation by identifying technical and user-centric enhancement opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
  • As the primary bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity across all parties.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between UX, engineering, and business teams to deliver a cohesive product.

Technical Requirements and Design Ownership
  • Develop and refine technical requirements in partnership with architects and development teams.
  • Translate complex business needs into precise, actionable technical specifications and user stories.
  • Ensure all solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

User-Centric Design and Feedback Integration
  • Incorporate user research, usability testing, and feedback loops to inform product development.
  • Partner with UX designers to ensure solutions prioritize exceptional user experiences.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by integrating user feedback into the product roadmap.

Execution and Delivery
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery and production.
  • Ensure all user stories are development-ready, including data-driven justifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead large-scale initiatives, acting as the face of the project and managing significant ambiguity with confidence.

Performance Measurement and Reporting
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
  • Report on results, including technical performance, user impact, and business ROI.
  • Develop mechanisms to audit and ensure the long-term success of product solutions.
  • Effectively communicate the value and success of initiatives to stakeholders, tailoring messaging to convey the business and user impact compellingly.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Digital, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years in product ownership, product management, or a related field, with significant experience defining technical requirements.
  • Proven success in delivering complex technical solutions in cross-functional environments.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Experience in the digital transformation or technology consulting industry.
  • Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing)

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of backend architectures, APIs, and scalable technical design principles.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs and propose alternative technical solutions in collaboration with architects.

Analytical and Strategic Thinking:

  • Proficiency in analyzing data to drive decisions, prioritize work, and measure outcomes.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align product development to broader organizational goals.

Leadership and Communication:

  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and business leaders.
  • Skilled in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and compellingly.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $137,300 - $205,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges based on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate and internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
