Job Overview

The Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager – Digital Data Networks (DDN) will play an integral role in shaping and executing digital marketing strategies, with a particular emphasis on ABM strategies that establish TE as a trusted partner for target customers. Success in this position will hinge on the ability to not only foster strong, collaborative relationships with Sales but also ensure tight alignment between ABM programs and broader business objectives and priorities.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience strategizing, planning, and implementing ABM programs, working closely with Account teams to align strategies, and measuring program effectiveness. The person should have a keen eye for digital trends, as well as solid hands-on experience with account-based marketing (ABM) and account-based experience (ABX).
This role demands a self-starter with a history of thriving in cross-functional, matrixed organizations, managing a diverse range of digital projects seamlessly across global teams. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to independently anticipate challenges, spot opportunities, and drive initiatives in cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities
⦁ Partner closely with Sales and Account teams to co-develop ABM strategies that align with business goals, customer needs, and account plans
⦁ Facilitate regular collaboration with Sales to identify target accounts, define engagement goals, and ensure marketing efforts support pipeline and revenue objectives.
⦁ Develop and implement tailored ABM campaigns (email, social, content, paid ads) that reflect account-specific insights and buyer journeys.
⦁ Create account-specific playbooks and messaging frameworks to support Sales outreach and deepen customer engagement.
⦁ Deliver actionable insights to Sales and cross-functional teams based on account behavior, digital engagement, and analytics.
⦁ Manage and optimize the digital experience for target accounts on TE.com, including navigation, personalization, and content relevance, to enhance user engagement.
⦁ Recommend and implement tools, workflows, and processes to improve ABM efficiency and Sales-Marketing alignment.
⦁ Stay current on ABM and digital marketing trends, including AI-driven personalization and predictive analytics, and apply them to enhance program performance.
⦁ Ensure continuous measurement and optimization of ABM programs, using data to refine strategies and demonstrate business impact.

What your background should look like

Background & Qualifications
⦁ A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline is required
⦁ 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years focused on ABM in B2B/SaaS, technology, or infrastructure sectors (AI, cloud, data center, or similar environments highly preferred)
⦁ Proven record of successfully partnering with Sales or Business Development teams to devise and implement ABM strategies that deliver measurable, business-driven results
⦁ Comprehensive experience managing the complete ABM and digital campaign lifecycle—including strategic planning, campaign launch, performance measurement, data interpretation, and optimization
⦁ Proficient in ABM platforms, CRM systems, and digital campaign platforms
⦁ Self-driven candidate who anticipates challenges, identifies opportunities for improvement, and initiates cross-functional partnerships to achieve goals without direct oversight
⦁ Strong data-driven decision-making mindset, with expertise in understanding enterprise buyer cycles, account scoring, and lead nurturing
⦁ Clear storyteller, able to translate data into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams
⦁ Strong project management skills
⦁ Good understanding of B2B customer journey, with a customer-centric mindset
⦁ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
⦁ Experience with website content management & analytics is preferred
