About the team
The Infrastructure and Place (IP) division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built. Our work can entail project management and assurance, commercial management, engineering and technical advisory and precinct renewal and place making.
Our project management and assurance team provide the expertise, frameworks, methodologies, systems, reporting and assurance to enable the delivery of quality infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an opportunity for a Senior Manager - Project Controls to join us in our Project Performance team with opportunities based in our key North region operations in either Grafton or Newcastle with responsibility for:
- Lead and manage the Project Performance team within a project office or program of projects to ensure that they are well integrated with the projects they are embedded in and promote a performance-driven culture within projects and programs.
- Provide guidance and support to project leadership with respect to all Project Performance parameters, including, but not limited to cost control, risk management, project planning, change control, performance reporting and monitoring of other performance metrics, including community, environment and safety.
- Undertake and support project and program reviews and deep dives to facilitate identification of performance issues, early intervention and risk mitigation and appropriate escalation, managing and leading your Senior Managers Project, providing guidance and support to your team embedded in projects.

About you
You are a tertiary qualified project controls, commercial or project delivery leader looking for an opportunity to broaden your knowledge of the infrastructure delivery process and assist in delivering State changing projects.
You have extensive transport project development and delivery experience with proven experience in the development and implementation of infrastructure projects including monitoring, evaluating, managing, and reporting on complex projects.
