The B Level Operator is a Extrusion Operator who will be responsible for setting up, monitoring and operating various piece of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, magline, plastic extruder, PCP injection. May included operation of multiple machines at one time. Could also include repair, patching or splicing cable. May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.
As a B Level Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding Work order instructions
- Material Selection and job requirements
- Processing extrusion machine and Downstream equipment set up
- Starting, running equipment and maintaining pipe specifications
- Conforming to specifications and troubleshooting and maintaining machine conditions
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to safely operate industrial equipment
- Previous Pipe Extrusion experience (3-5 years)
- Pipe Coiling experience
- Some overtime and weekend support as requested.
- Other duties as directed
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to operate material moving equipment/overhead crane and/or obtain certification.
Desired Characteristics:
- Preferred previous working knowledge (3-5 years) of Pipe Extrusion
