EVC Recovery Coordinator I

The EVC Recovery Coordinator I is responsible for the day-to-day operations of resolving overcharges to Expedia Virtual Cards. You will work directly with our global hotel partners, various Expedia internal teams, and our credit card providers to ensure recovery of overcharged funds. Primary communication will be via email, but some telephone communication may be required.
This position will verify that all payment activity from the system of record is consistent with authorization requests and resulting charges. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.

What you will do/role & responsibility:
Obtain work from assigned queues
Resolve overcharges with hotel partners when cases are created
Communicate clearly and effectively to convey information through a variety of means (primarily email & phone) with our hotel partners to maximize partner-initiated recovery potential
Maintain active dispute cases to ensure each overcharge has been fully recovered and action partial credits as appropriate
Respond to hotel partner inquiries and questions regarding overcharges disputed to secure credits from the partners back to our EVC cards within established timelines (SLA’s)
Raise cases as necessary to an EVC Recovery II Coordinator team for review and submission to our card providers for chargeback processing
Monitor and maintain work queue to ensure cases do not exceed our recovery timelines
Review and research assigned vendor rebuttals returned by card issuers for chargebacks that had been submitted and respond as needed
Complete work effectively and efficiently to achieve department metrics
