Role: SAP Test Lead

Reporting To: Senior Manager, ERP Systems and PMO
TE Connectivity is looking for a Test lead to join our IT team and oversee the testing of the company's ERP and other transformative business projects. This Test Lead will initially work as part of an SAP project team migrating two (2) TE Connectivity Medical business units in Oregon and Mexico to SAP. Throughout the project lifecycle, this job is responsible for planning, coordinating, leading, and managing testing activities. With TE Connectivity, the contract is a permanent employment contract.

Job Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, monitoring, and oversight of all phases of testing
- Work closely with the Project Managers, Validation Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure business requirements have been met
- Develop, execute, and manage test plans and schedules for each test phase, including unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
- Develop estimates for each testing phase
- Lead preparation of business scenarios and required test scripts, including identification of needed master and transactional data to execute end-to-end testing
- Collaborate with Project Managers to integrate test activities into the overall project plan
- Lead business team in execution of all test phases
- Facilitate test meetings, escalating to Project Manager as needed
- Monitor issues/defects for trends and provide metrics to the project management team
- Oversight of requirement traceability throughout all test phases
- Management and oversight of test team to ensure timely test execution, proper test result documentation, timely defects/issues reporting, and timely retest
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks against set deadlines
- During test cycles, travel may be required
- Manufacturing background is preferred but not required
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment is preferred
Qualifications
- Qualified candidates must have completed multiple SAP full lifecycle implementations as a Test Lead
- People management and leadership skills, including coaching, supervision, staffing, and conflict management
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio
- Proactive, Delivery Focused, and Resilient
- Deep Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices
- Knowledge of testing industry trends and tools

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $90,000 – $110,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
