About Us
Our Geelong IPL Operations employs approximately 50 personnel with its major activity being manufacturing Single Super Phosphate (SSP) for use in the local pasture market and distribution to other facilities along the Eastern sea board of Australia and Tasmania. A full range of bulk solid fertilisers are also blended and distributed at these sites. The site is capable of producing over 250,000 tonnes of fertiliser each year.
The Role
Reporting to the Primary Distribution Centre (PDC) Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Support achievement of PDC targets through contributions to site operations including mobile equipment operations, weighbridge operations etc
- Ensure distribution KPI’s are achieved safely and recorded according to the daily management system.
- Perform loading duties in compliance with chain of responsibility legislation.
- Monitoring PDC equipment and escalating issues to relevant personnel.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors inclusive of pre-start checks.
About You
- Certificate IV in Transport & Logistics (desirable)
- FEL, Forklift License & Skid Steer (desirable)
- Experience with basic computer systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work autonomously and with limited supervision
- Solid experience in bulk production distribution and weigh bridge operations (desirable)
- Exposure to work environments with hazards and safety systems
