About the Role
The purpose of the Customer Service Officer is to act as the first point of contact for customers and brokers in performing loan maintenance and performing soft collections on overdue loans via phone and email. By providing timely actioning of loan maintenance enquiries, you will maintain strong working relationships with Brokers, Clients and Business Development Managers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Follow up of backdated loans awaiting client payments prior to settlement
- Early stage soft collection for dishonoured payments & loans in arrears
- Put payment arrangements in place up to 30 Days in arrears in line with credit policy & DAA
- Issuing cancellations due to non-payment in line with credit policy
- Actioning email, voicemail, telephone requests for general loan maintenance
- Provide first call/email resolution to all Broker and Client Customer Service enquiries
- Daily letter printing/posting and/or emailing
- General Administration as requested by management
