We are looking for a Broker Change Manager to join the team based at Brentwood or Croydon with the opportunity to work from home 1 or 2 days per week. We adopt a flexible working environment with a strong focus on continuous learning and development
You will lead a program of strategic business improvements across LV= Broker which includes large scale, complex projects with significant impact to the business, deliver change programs across Broker and to manage the co-ordinated delivery of a program of specific improvement (change) projects that will assist LV= Broker in meeting its strategic goals.
You will manage the oversight of key systems, process standards and access and permissions management, assume control and set the governance for the small change work stack, ensuring that small change low risk work is prioritised on a fair basis. Control the accounting for the small change budget allocation and collate and document all CIO (or similar body) related issues and present these as the LV= Broker representative at monthly CIO meetings alongside application/system owners. escalating where appropriate.
You will retain an oversight over all essential strategic projects across the divisions within LV= Broker. Take accountability for tracking and collating information regarding progress and reporting this in to the Director of Broker Strategy and Performance and Managing Director of LV= Broker through appropriate governance forums.

About you
You will have a insurance broker or insurer background with proven strong leadership & collaborative management skills. With your excellent communication & relationship building skills you can coach to achieve high performance from teams
You will have a good level of abstract thinking skills and ability to take the 'big picture' view and identify linkages and dependencies between work streams and activities with excellent planning and organisational skills to deliver accurate work under pressure against agreed deadlines.
You will have good project and change management skills, knowledge of Insurance IT processes and good numerical skill & IT skills.
Good understanding of & ability to assimilate regulatory & compliance requirement and experience in commercial & personal lines insurance products preferable
Details
you will be accountable for the delivery of Broker Change Programmes and Projects. Leading, managing and developing projects, project work streams, and initiatives which vary in scale and complexity as part of the Strategy and Performance team within LV= Broker ensuring that:
- All agreed outcomes, deliverable's and benefits are achieved to the required standard of quality and within the constraints of time and cost
- Team resource is proactively managed across projects/initiatives to ensure optimum utilisation of skills, knowledge and capacity
- Skills and knowledge are proactively and continuously improved and developed to support the changing needs of LV= Broker
- A lead is taken in regular progress meetings, ensuring all actions, issues and risks are logged and proactively managed, and that progress against plan for all projects/initiatives is tracked and reported on a weekly basis.
- Benefit realisation processes are implemented and maintained
- Timely identification of risks and escalation managed appropriately where required
- Lead the Broker change team, adopting a shared vision across individual and team objectives
Stakeholder Management
Promote, develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders;
- Ensuring that key stakeholders up to Executive level are personally engaged and aware of impacts
- Take on the role of business conduit with regards to CIO and Business Change
- Where projects are led within Broker, obtain stakeholder signoff of detailed project plans including all key tasks, dependencies, milestones, owners, resource, and start and end dates
- Embed structured delivery techniques in the team and continuously review methodologies in line with best practice and relevance to the business
Contributing to LV= Broker strategy and other projects
Assisting and supporting other project work streams, processes and strategic planning
- Working within the LV= Broker senior leadership teams, ensure that priorities are being actively managed and there is long term visibility of the Business Improvement roadmap
- Link into Finance to ensure that Project spend and CIO recharges are justified and are being maximised across LV= Broker
- Contribute to strategic planning and assist shaping ideas and initiatives into defined projects with clear requirements and business cases
- Contribute where appropriate to projects and initiatives led by other business areas within LV= Broker and GI. operations and Group to maximise benefits delivered from the depth and breadth of knowledge and skills within the team
- Conducting and responding to post implementation reviews, ensuring that learning is shared with work stream, project and senior managers and key stakeholders, and that agreed improvements are embedded into change and project management processes and practices in pursuit of continuous improvement
Coaching and Development
Assisting and supporting other project work streams,
- Drive cultural change for business process improvements & a proactive approach to sustainable business transformation.
- Coach and develop direct reports and wider team members to support talent development, maximise individual performance and to support individual personal development plans.
