Unique individuals, united by purpose
Our purpose is to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity. Our strategy is to deliver 360° value for all our stakeholders by helping them continuously reinvent. To drive reinvention, innovation must be at the forefront, which requires us to attract, develop and inspire top talent. Talent is one of our most important areas of competitive differentiation.
As part of our talent strategy, we hire and develop people who have different backgrounds, different perspectives and different lived experiences. These differences ensure that we have and attract the cognitive diversity to deliver a variety of perspectives, observations and insights which are essential to drive the innovation needed to reinvent, and we hold our leaders accountable for ensuring we have the most innovative and talented people in our industry.
We recognize that some people come to Accenture having faced obstacles as an aspect of their identity or lived experience. At Accenture, we are committed to embracing these perspectives and ensuring that all of our people have the opportunity to thrive and unlock their full potential. We are committed to equal opportunity and a workplace free from bias. We are a meritocracy.
Our intention is to foster a culture and a workplace in which all of our people feel a sense of belonging and are respected and empowered to do their best work and to create 360° value for all our stakeholders.

Corporate Citizenship
At Accenture, we believe we all have the power to act for change. In ANZ, our people get one day of volunteering leave per year, and currently, we have a 50 percent volunteer participation rate, contributing to 15,444 volunteer hours to the communities we support.
We also work with many non-profit organisations to fund programs that benefit our local communities, with a particular focus on disadvantaged youth, First Nations people and women in need.
Some of our key partners and programs include:
Australian Business and Community Network - The Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) is a not-for-profit that brings businesses and schools together to help upskill students from lower socio-economic areas. We’ve donated 140 laptops to help address the digital divide and make sure disadvantaged students can continue to learn from home.
Career Trackers - Career Trackers is a national non-profit organisation in Australia that helps create pathways and support systems for First Nations young adults to attend and graduate from university. We work with the organisation to offer industry experience through internships.
Eat Up - Eat Up is an Australian non-profit that helps feed hungry and disadvantaged school children. We have worked with Eat Up since 2017, supporting them through sponsorship, skilled volunteering, and pro bono work. Our people have contributed almost 1,000 volunteer hours, delivering more than 20,000 sandwiches to schools.
Bushfire Crisis Response and Recovery
In response to the devastating bushfires in 2019–2020, we quickly found ways to help through donations and volunteering. We mobilised a team to support the Australian Red Cross (ARC) bushfire relief operations and increased the number of paid volunteering days for bushfire-related cause. We were also able to help our people who were directly impacted with additional flexible work arrangements, and extended grief counselling and emotional support to impacted friends and community members.
