About the role

AGL’s Portfolio Valuation team has an exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity for an AI Product & Enablement Lead.

Based in Melbourne, you’ll partner with users to understand current workflows, identify where AI can add value and translate the strongest opportunities into clear, prioritised initiatives that can be designed, built and adopted.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and conduct interviews, workshops, surveys and observation sessions to understand how work is performed today
  • Document end-to-end workflows, decision points, information flows and dependencies
  • Assess current AI usage, user maturity, pain points, risks and unmet needs
  • Define intended value, success measures and adoption requirements for AI opportunities
  • Create clear current-state and future-state artefacts for users, leaders and engineers
  • Develop practical education, guidance and reusable materials that help users understand where AI is suitable and how to use it effectively
  • Support pilots and releases through communications, demonstrations, feedback and targeted adoption activities
  • Research AI market developments, emerging use cases, vendor capabilities and relevant open-source libraries, sharing concise recommendations
  • Maintain and prioritise a transparent pipeline of AI opportunities from discovery and validation through to build and adoption
  • Translate prioritised opportunities into problem statements, user requirements, acceptance criteria and value measures

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in product discovery, business analysis, service design, change, digital enablement or a related role
  • Practical understanding of AI capabilities, limitations and common use cases, together with the data, privacy, cyber security, risk and responsible AI considerations that influence safe adoption
  • Workshop facilitation and process-mapping skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous needs into clear problems and opportunities
  • Interpersonal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, senior stakeholders and technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise opportunities using value, effort, risk, data readiness and user maturity, and define meaningful measures of success
  • Knowledge of AI orchestration, automation and agentic workflow development will be highly regarded
