The opportunity at AIA
This is an exciting opportunity to join AIA’s Retail Product team as a Product Manager. This role is responsible for driving product profitability and growth by implementing the product strategy for the Retail channel (over $350m in-force premium and $100m ANP).
This role will take end-to-end responsibility for delivering key new customer focussed product innovations and supporting the team as the business works through integration with CommInsure (subject to regulatory approval).
The remit of this role includes the advised channels, the integration of Vitality AIA’s innovative Health and Wellness proposition and integration with AIA’s new Health insurance proposition. This role will be part of a high performing team and play an integral role in continuing AIA’s #1 market position.
Along with your relevant qualifications in Business/Commerce, you will also bring the following expertise and skills:
- Proven expertise delivering new and innovative product ideas
- Strong commercial and technical knowledge of Retail Life Insurance Product Development
- Proven success delivering projects on time and within quality expectations
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to consult and influence at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders
- Track record in proactive leadership that supports the overarching company goals and stated product strategy
Formal post-graduate qualifications in financial planning, superannuation, insurance, estate planning and law are highly desirable.
This is a permanent, full time opportunity located at our Head Office at 509 St Kilda Road Melbourne (Tram Stop 25).
