Our Australia Regional finance team are currently seeking interest for the role of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager, based primarily at the Booragoon Office.
This is an opportunity to utilise your Financial and Business knowledge within the Australian Finance team Reporting to Director Finance – Australia. Your principle responsibilities will be providing support on operations forecasting, planning, reporting and long-term planning. The position provides the financial reporting and analysis information and direction to our six Australian operating locations and Senior Management.
You will be seen as a subject matter expert in the analysis and reporting across various key financial and non-financial areas. You can expect to work closely with the Alcoa Corporate FP&A team in the development of best practice standardised processes, working to implement these across the Australian Region in an effective and efficient manner.
Supporting month and quarterly analysis and providing insights on reasons behind operating performance and results, assists operations with analysis of complete business options and decisions as well as assisting with business cases for new initiatives such as Refinery of the Future and High Purity Alumina. This is an opportunity to turn these insights into initiatives, running with them and driving up efficiencies!
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Bachelor Degree in Commerce and/or Accounting and/or Finance,
Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia / New Zealand or a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
High level problems solving and analysis with an innovative approach to continuous improvement
Strong analytical skill and experience to apply to business scenarios and high degree of computer literacy for complex excel modelling
Ability to work in teams and interact effectively with local, overseas team members, Location and Senior Management
High level communication and interpersonal skills are also essential to your success in this role.
