We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as the HR Manager at our mining operations in Pinjarra with travel to our 2 local mine sites in the Peel region.
With a customer focused attitude, you will provide high level HR business partnering support to our mining operations whilst also collaborating with your peers across our other Australian operational assets.
Your breadth of HR expertise and background of working in unionised environments will support our continued focus on driving a high-performance culture through effective leadership coaching, driving initiatives to support enhancing our culture and creating a highly engaged workforce for the plant.
Reporting to the WA Manager of Mines (GM) and HR Director for Australia, the key activities of the role includes:
Employee relations activities, including Enterprise Agreement negotiations, investigations, and dispute management.
Providing leadership and guidance to your site-based HR team.
HR support and advice to line and functional leaders, and employees at all levels.
Driving workforce planning activities and successful change management.
Driving organisational effectiveness including leading the location Learning and Development function.
Building upon cultural transformation and diverse talent solutions.
Proactively seek out opportunities for and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Leading key inclusion and diversity activities.

About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Tertiary qualified experienced HR Professional with experience of working in a leadership capacity.
A breadth of HR generalist expertise and a passion for effective and collaborative HR partnering.
Experience within the mining or mineral processing sectors would be highly desirable.
Ability to engage effectively with and influence key stakeholders, offering effective HR solutions to the business.
Understanding and experience of unionised work force environments.
Customer focused mentality.
A leadership style that fosters the growth and development of others.
