We are on the search for an experienced Document Control and Administration professional driven by quality and best practice that is seeking to utilise their project expertise to support our global capital portfolio team with maintaining and updating their relevant systems, policies, and processes.We are on the search for an experienced Document Control and Administration professional driven by quality and best practice that is seeking to utilise their project expertise to support our global capital portfolio team with maintaining and updating their relevant systems, policies, and processes.
In this role, you will provide direct leadership to the Capital Document Control and Administration team located at our Pinjarra Hub and guide their capability development whilst ensuring that quality standards and consistency in the application of project services are delivered to the requirements and are timely managed. Additional key focus areas and activities will be:
Ensuring all engineering and other technical documents are distributed and recorded in accordance with Alcoa policies and procedures.
Supervise the development of standard operating instructions directly applicable to the document control and administration function.
Establishing and maintaining an Asset Control Register for site locations which entails managing and controlling project assets such as vehicles, hardware/software, and telecommunications.
Maintaining distribution lists, schedules and functions/workshops for key resources and coordinating travel/accommodation requirements for personnel undertaking business related travel.
Providing executive support to the senior capital management group as required.
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Completion of a Diploma in related field or accredited/formal document management training
Extensive experience within a similar administrative role operating within a senior capacity.
Advanced level of computer literacy in a Microsoft Office environment.
Proven experience in Document Control and working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of management.
Well-developed human relations, organisational ability, and communication skills.
A creative approach to solving problems whilst delivering value by contributing to improvement initiatives.
