About the job
An opportunity exists for an innovative person to fill this diverse, challenging, yet rewarding role as Lead for our Blue Collar and Entry Talent team. This role is offered on a 12month Fixed Term Contract basis, primarily based at our Bindjareb Office in the Pinjarra town centre.
Reporting to the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager, accountability in the role is to drive the coordination of talent attraction and acquisition needs across internal and external Blue Collar and Entry Talent streams, ensuring national consistency of standards.
Your aim of attracting and recruiting personnel across operational and Entry Talent programs will require you to:
- Examine current talent acquisition practices and provide expert strategic talent acquisition advice.
- Develop, introduce and execute diverse strategies to achieve successful outcomes aligning with key objectives and changing needs of the business.
- Develop and maintain credible relationships with all levels of management that enable transparent discussions with stakeholders.
- Provide metrics and reporting up to a global level on status of projects and campaigns.
- Partner with stakeholders external to the business to support branding efforts for volume campaigns.
Additionally, there is a formal leadership aspect to this role in providing high-level talent acquisition support; close coaching and guidance to a team of Talent Acquisition Consultants who support operations' day-to-day recruitment needs.
Regular visits across our WA operations are key to success in this role to stay connected with our operations and the people within it.
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Tertiary qualifications or Diploma in Human Resources, Business or other relevant discipline highly regarded.
Experience in all aspects of Talent Acquisition with exposure to guide volume campaigns
Internal talent acquisition experience ideal
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Solid understanding of the resources industry would be highly desirable.
Demonstrated people leadership and success building cohesive and high performing teams.
Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders internal and external
A strong customer centric mentality
Demonstrate successful sourcing of candidates using various techniques and tools.
