About the job
The Electrical Project Officer role based out of our Huntly and Willowdale Operations will primarily focus on scoping, quoting, planning, constructability reviewing, supervising, executing, commissioning and closing out key capital and non-capital project works as a part of the Mines Engineering team.
Projects primarily focus on electrical upgrades and modifications to the crushing, conveying, sampling, stacking, reclaiming, train loading, and electrical power distribution systems which are critical to the reliable supply of bauxite from these operations.
The Electrical Project Officer will be required to supervise/manage projects that involve both electrical and mechanical work. This work is critical to the successful operation/maintenance of the conveying systems. Close supervision and adherence to standards is essential.
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Electrical Trade certificate with A Class Electrical License
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience of electricians in a heavy industry facility
HV Switching certification – desirable
HV Switching experience – desirable
