Alinta Energy is one of Australia’s biggest energy retailers, generators and developers with over 1.1 million customers. Australia’s energy system is undergoing the biggest transformation in its history and we’re right there with it. We’re investing in and developing large-scale renewables and storage projects as part of our ongoing effort to provide our customers with reliable, affordable and sustainable energy.

About the role

As the first point of contact for our Perth office, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and professional workplace experience. This varied, people-focused position combines front-of-house reception, office coordination and administrative support, ensuring our workplace remains organised, welcoming and running efficiently. Working part-time onsite (ideally Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm), you'll build strong relationships across the business and become a trusted go-to person for employees, visitors and contractors alike.

Why you’ll love working here

At Alinta Energy, we’re taking real action to deliver reliable and sustainable energy for Australia - and that practical approach runs through everything we do. You’ll get clear direction, genuine flexibility, and the support you need to grow, all while working on projects that make a lasting difference. We’re big enough to create impact, but small enough that your ideas and effort will always be seen.

There are plenty of other great benefits of working for Alinta Energy, including energy discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a paid volunteer day each year, fully stocked kitchens, and lots more.

• Maintain office supplies, kitchen consumables and shared spaces, ensuring the workplace remains organised, well-stocked and presentable.
• Support administrative activities including document preparation, invoice and purchase order administration, mail management and general office support.
• Coordinate office events, morning teas and workplace initiatives while assisting with facilities and maintenance requests as required.

Your experience

• Previous experience in reception, customer service, office administration or workplace coordination.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a naturally friendly, approachable and service-focused style.
• Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, calendars and meeting room scheduling.
• Experience coordinating meetings, catering, office services or workplace events, with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and visitors.

Please note this role requires full working rights within Australia.
