About the role:

We are seeking a highly collaborative and experienced Technology Delivery Manager to join our Technology team based in Melbourne. This is a key leadership role with a focus on managing end-to-end delivery across the different delivery teams and external vendors.

To be successful, you must have a solid grasp of how to scale Lean and Agile practices and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning a large development program.

In this role, you’ll be:

• Setting and managing expenditure budgets to meet outcomes with both short term and long-term considerations.
• Coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
• Facilitating planning events by fostering a continuous exploration process that connects the Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events
• Establishing and communicating the annual and quarterly calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs)
• Establishing strong governance processes and accountability framework to ensure timely delivery of outcomes and hold parties to account if they fail to meet expected service levels.

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

• Solid experience with Lean and Agile frameworks, especially the Scaled Agile framework
• Proven experience managing and leading IT projects
• Strong communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
• Foster a collaborative and open work environment
• Utilities industry experience (Retailer, Distributor, AEMO etc) would be highly regarded

As a Delivery Manager for this critical project, you will be responsible for bringing together a diverse and multi-faceted team to facilitate the successful achievement of our business outcomes.
