About the role:
We are looking for an experienced General Manager, Brand and Marketing to join our Retail Markets team. Reporting to the Executive Director, Retail Markets, this role is responsible for defining and driving our brand and marketing program to ensure its success. You will align with our Customer Strategy, to connect the marketing and brand initiatives more deeply with customer insights. You will foster customer-centric thinking and holistic proposition development
- Responsibilities include:
- End to end ownership and implementation of the Alinta Energy Brand and Retail Marketing strategy
- Design and lead marketing transformation programs to support the Retail strategy and wider Alinta Energy business
- Establish a strategic segment-led approach to Marketing and expedite value delivery
- Champion customer-thinking across Brand & Marketing
- Manage and implement agreed Brand, Marketing and Product performance KPIs
Skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in a similar senior marketing position where you have had direct responsibility for segment based and lifecycle marketing and brand management (prior experience re-launching a brand will be highly regarded)
- Experience developing strategic brand and marketing programs with measurable ROI, focusing on key customer opportunities spanning from awareness and conversion to retention and expanding share of wallet
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders across the business
- Demonstrated experience managing and optimising marketing channels, including paid, owned and earned as well as brokering and managing agency partner relationships, taking a highly commercial approach
- Ability to manage and develop talent, and build high performing cultures and teams
This is a rare opportunity for a customer centric, senior marketing professional to lead the transformation of Brand experience, enterprise-wide, across all customer and employee touchpoints and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.
There is flexibility for this role to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
