About the role:
We are presently in search of a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor, reporting to the Project Manager, to join our construction team at the Wagerup Power Station. In this role you will support health, safety, and environmental (HSE) services and counsel regarding their implementation within the project scope, encompassing plans, standards, and guidelines. Actively promoting the realization of the company's safety vision by adhering to established safety principles. Conduct system and compliance audits and monitor performance to drive ongoing improvement and ensure quality assurance.

- Verify that suppliers and contractors adhere to requisite standards to ensure the safe execution of the project.
- Administer and support the implementation of drug and alcohol testing protocols and management.
- Perform investigations into incidents and recommend novel work systems.
- Execute HSE policies, procedures, systems, and comply with legislative requirements.
- Show dedication to HSE by collaborating with site teams to enhance safety leadership skills.
- Provide specialist advice, interpretation, and counsel to line management in all HSE matters.
