About the role:

In this role, you'll play a key part in implementing a variety of projects and process improvements across the organisation. Successful candidates will possess a strong background in business requirements gathering, process documentation, project planning, testing methodologies, and change management. Due to the nature of the projects and support required by the business you must have solid Commercial and Industrial (C&I) knowledge gained within the utilities industry.

In this role, you’ll b e :

• Gathering, documenting, and examining current and future business needs for established processes whilst suggesting improvements to boost efficiency and reduce revenue loss.
• Ensuring multiple project documents are kept up to date, managing project scopes, and adjusting schedules as needed. Prioritising daily tasks to ensure smooth and timely delivery of project milestones, following proper escalation procedures, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
• Eliciting and clearly documenting business and systems requirements. Providing project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan etc).
• Understanding and negotiating needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Cross functional collaboration with peers and developers to implement the requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process.

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience gained within the utilities industry and an understanding of the end-to-end C&I processes from meter to cash
• Experience in Customer Relation Management (CRM) Systems, Configure, Pricing and Quoting (CPQ) systems and Billing Systems
• Solid all-round business and technical skills of a Business Analyst such as requirements gathering, process documentation, project planning, testing methodologies, change management methodologies
• Analytical mindset with ability to understand complex systems and data flows with little or no documentation
• Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing both written and verbal skills and adept at collaborating within teams while also capable of working independently
