Ready to make a real impact?
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Team Leader leads the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant payroll services across the organisation. The role provides hands-on leadership to a payroll team of two, balancing people management with active involvement in payroll processing to ensure all pay cycles, adjustments and statutory deadlines are met. You will allocate workloads, manage team capacity during peak periods and act as an escalation point for complex payroll matters. This position plays a key role in payroll governance, ensuring controls, reconciliations and legislative requirements are consistently applied. Working closely with Finance, Reward and People Operations, you will support audits, provide payroll insights and drive continuous improvement.

There are plenty of other great benefits of working for Alinta Energy, including flexible working, energy discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a paid volunteer day each year, fully stocked kitchens, and lots more.
