We are seeking an accomplished and passionate Environment, Health & Safety professional with a strong commitment to excellence, ready to step into a highly rewarding and impactful role. Join our team as the EHS & Rail Safety Advisor based at the Dandenong site, VIC on the Velocity, Xtrapolis 2.0, and NGT projects, where you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and thriving workplace.
We’ll look to you for:
- Supporting the project leadership team in creating and driving a 'safety first' culture
- Assisting in the delivery and review of EHS & Rail Safety management plans
- Conducting incident investigations and audits
- Managing project EHS documentation and compliance
- Preparing statistical reporting for internal and external stakeholders
All about you:
- Cert IV or Diploma in Workplace, Health & Safety
- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within Rail, Construction, Heavy Industry, or other high-risk environments
- Strong knowledge of safe work systems, legislation, standards, and codes
- Expertise in risk-based processes, safety management systems, and project delivery
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Initiative, drive, resilience, and the ability to navigate complex issues
