Your role, your impact
As a senior level Training and Competency Co-ordinator based in Milton, Brisbane, you be responsible for the end-to-end coordination, administration, and management of training and competency activities across projects. This includes maintaining the Learning Management Systems (LMS), scheduling training, ensuring compliance with industry requirements, supporting engineering stakeholders in developing and maintaining engineering, installation and T&C (testing and commissioning) competency requirements for Queensland. Your scope includes the following:
- Learning Systems & Compliance: Manage the LMS platforms (Avetta, RIW), maintain accurate learner profiles, manage rail compliance requirements including tracking expiring licences and competencies.
- Training & Coordination: Coordinate training schedules, manage the project training calendar and logistics, atrack attendance andd raising POs.
- Competency & Technical Support: Maintain competency frameworks and training matrices across Signalling and Infrastructure ANZ projects, support engineering teams with QLD engineering, installation & T&C requirements while partnering with stakeholders on technical capability.
- Stakeholder & Reporting: Liaise with RTOs, providers, and internal teams; support ANZ Training and project teams while maintaining records and reporting.
- Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding and ensure all compliance and training requirements are met prior to mobilisation.

- An experienced professional with 4+ years’ in a technical training environment with strong AQF knowledge.
- Exceptional admin, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using LMS platforms.
- Experience with databases and advanced MS Office.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of rail industry standards and regulations (e.g. RIW, Queensland Rail).
